Guerilla Gardening

Some of you might have noticed the planting around the tree pits up at the junction of Waldeck Road and Stanmore Road. This is a prime example of Guerilla Gardening. Such 'stealth gardening' can make a huge difference to the environment, and the streets we travel daily.

Richard Reynolds has been a guerilla gardener since 2004.

Once you start to look, there are many sites around our community which could be 'hit'. Dig out that Che T-shirt and redundant trowel, and 'Pimp your Pavement'.

As has been said "The people involved in the fringe now are the visionaries."
