Tokyo Colour-In
One of his latest projects is Tokyo Colour-In - a colouring-in book of Tokyo street art. Developed from the Tokyo street art research project, this intriguing tome was 'created to introduce little hands and minds to the fine-grained hand made aspects of human(e) creativity on the street'.

Yet, for well over thirty years, this location has been the home, and to some extent heart, of London’s skateboarding scene. Consequently, the Long Live Southbank campaign has formed to stand up for the protection of these essential examples of artistic counter-culture; in the hope that we can avoid eroding the soul of the city, in the interests of manifesting yet another anodyne shrine to retail culture.

Living the High Line
'The High Line is a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. It is owned by the City of New York, and maintained and operated by Friends of the High Line. Founded in 1999 by community residents, Friends of the High Line fought for the High Line’s preservation and transformation at a time when the historic structure was under the threat of demolition. It is now the non-profit conservancy working with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation to make sure the High Line is maintained as an extraordinary public space for all visitors to enjoy.'

Toast of the town
"My idea was to choose an object that wouldn't attract me, either by its beauty or by its ugliness. To find a point of indifference in my looking at it, you see." Marcel Duchamp.
In the early part of 20th century, artist Marcel Duchamp changed the way people viewed art, forever. He paved the way for the birth of abstraction, surrealism, and most forms of modernist expressive art. And through his most iconic artwork - Fountain [1917] - and the transformation of the found object, or 'Readymade' a new language would evolve.
Fast forward 80 years, and this Duchampian subversive action hits the streets, through Toasters - with the elevation of a humble domestic appliance into an iconic emblem for the urban age.

Lost in London
“Lost in London” is a film by Michael Smith and Wojciech Duczmal, who’ve collaborated on many documentaries for the BBC over the years. It develops further their idea of the lyrical essay-film, or documentary-poem.
Inspired by Baudelaire’s idea of the flâneur, the stroller whose epiphany is the shifting urban spectacle, the film is about one individual’s personal response to the unique spirit that charges the city he inhabits - in this case, Michael’s response to the inner East End, where he has lived for many years.
It’s a film about the deep, complex, bitter-sweet romance between an individual and his city. Like many long-term love affairs, it's a dysfunctional one, but nevertheless, this film is a love story between a person and a place.

WK
New York-based artist WK (aka WK Interact), originally from Caen, France, has a unique stretched-imprint method to his work. Creating contorted black-and-white pasted timelines, he engages the viewer by 'complimenting the constant stir of bodies and the perpetual motion of contemporary urban life'.
